The decision
Professional website design should make a business easier to understand, trust and contact. SiteGuys plans page hierarchy, messaging, proof, calls to action and responsive layouts around the decisions a qualified visitor needs to make.
How the work holds together

Structure first. Visual polish with a reason.

01 / Structure

Design starts with information architecture

Before visual styling, we define the pages, sections and navigation needed to answer the customer journey. This reduces decorative clutter and gives each section a measurable role in the experience.

  • Primary and secondary conversion paths
  • Service and audience segmentation
  • Proof near high-friction decisions
  • Consistent heading and CTA hierarchy
02 / Prove

Visual polish should support credibility

Typography, spacing, imagery, contrast and motion are used to make the business feel established without making the interface harder to use. The goal is a professional experience that still loads quickly and reads clearly.

Scope signals

What the work needs to protect.

These requirements become review criteria, not decorative claims added after the design is complete.

Questions

Before this becomes a scope.

01How does SiteGuys approach website design?+

We start with the business goal, search intent, proof requirements and conversion path, then design the page structure and development approach around those needs. The visual system stays consistent while the information architecture changes for the project.

02Will the website be mobile-friendly and search-ready?+

Yes. Responsive behaviour, semantic HTML, crawlable navigation, metadata, internal linking, sitemap output and performance-minded implementation are part of the website foundation.

03Can SiteGuys work with an existing website?+

Yes. We can redesign, migrate or improve an existing website when preserving useful content, URLs or search equity is more valuable than starting completely from scratch.

04Is the website review and quote free?+

Yes. A SiteGuys specialist reviews your needs and provides a free, no-obligation recommendation and quote. No deposit is required to request a review.

05How much does a website cost?+

A focused one-page website starts at $499 CAD. A typical five-page business website is approximately $1,499–$2,500 CAD. Larger projects are priced after we agree on the pages, content and features. Your written quote confirms the final price before work begins. Applicable taxes are additional. SiteGuys serves businesses in Canada and the USA. More pages, custom design, special features or moving an existing site can increase the price. Hosting, paid software and optional ongoing care are listed separately.

06Will I have a dedicated Project Manager?+

Yes. Every customer has a dedicated human Project Manager to coordinate planning, content, feedback, development, launch and handover. Optional ongoing support can be arranged separately.

07How do payments work?+

Under our standard payment option, after the written scope is agreed, 50% is paid in advance to begin. It is refundable if the agreed work has not begun and non-refundable once work begins, subject to applicable statutory rights. The final 50% is due after completion of the agreed scope and before launch, handover or release of agreed files and access. Easy monthly payment options are available. Ask us about a payment schedule for your project. For an agreed monthly plan, payment dates, launch and handover arrangements are set out in your written proposal.

08Do I own my website?+

The written proposal identifies ownership and transfer of the website, agreed source files, domain and accounts. Third-party software and licensed assets remain subject to their own licences. Optional care is not automatically required; any required service dependency is disclosed before approval.
